Rakugo is Comic Storytelling. It is one of the most popular among both traditional and pop storytelling arts in Japan. Its history goes back more than 400 years. In Rakugo, only one person gives the performance and acts as all the characters While sitting and using only two props; a fan and a small hand towel.

This Rakugo Performance will be the first in Egypt. We will focus on “What’s Rakugo?” in our Library Exhibition this month.

We will open our Library on Saturday March 21, 2015 (10 am-4 pm)

It will be “Mother’s Day” so why not borrow a novel or Japanese comic story for your mother to enjoy?
