From Saturday, 26th April 2014 The Japan Foundation Cairo Office will resume regularly opening the Library on certain Saturdays of the month (once per month for the present).
This April, our Library events are focusing on “Japanese Games & Fun” and there will also be a Japanese Tea Event. Let’s enjoy Japanese Spring through seeing, hearing and tasting!

Ms. Yuko Taki, certified Japanese Tea presenter, will present this event. It’s aim is to find out about the different types of Japanese tea and experience a slight glimpse of daily Japanese culture.

Lecture “Saving Energy"'s Resume is available now
JFC held a special lecture “Japanese People’s Effort to Overcome Energy Challenges after the Fukushima Accident ~ Saving Energy~” given by Mr. Toyokazu Nagamune, Second Secretary and Economic Attaché in the Embassy of Japan in Egypt (Mar. 20th 2014). The Lecture was attended by many people and was so well received that we decided to share his presentation text on the net.
