In memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake

“We Still Remember Tohoku – 11 March”

On March 11, 2011 a disaster befell the entire Tohoku (East Japan) area in the form of a strong earthquake and tsunami. In memory if this event, the Japan Foundation Cairo Office will screen several feature and documentary films which tell of the efforts made by the citizens of this area to rebuild and revive their towns and communities in hope of a better tomorrow.
